Dancer/Director, born in Miami Florida, began her early training with Edmundo Ronquillo of the Ballet Nacional de Cuba. She later continued her studies at the New World School of the Arts, where she received a BFA with honors. Ms. Bulnes has received scholarships to American Ballet Theatre, Dance Theatre of Harlem and the Martha Graham School, and received a Merit Award in the NFAA “ARTS” Competition. As a featured dancer in a series of short dance films titled “Scriptures” Directed by Jennifer Sims, she has had the honor of showing the films in the Memento Vivere Festival (Italy and Romania 2009), the Festival VideoDanzaBa (Buenos Aires, Argentina 2010), the Stratford Fringe Film Festival (England 2010), the Court-BOUILLON Film Festival (France 2010) and the NYC Short Film Festival (New York City 2010). Jacqueline has danced as a Soloist with Dance Theatre of Harlem and the Martha Graham Dance Company where she performed Leading Roles in Sketches from Chronicle, Diversion of Angels, Clytemnestra, and El Penitente, among others. In 2012, Jacqueline founded the Panini 2 Life project, a Physical Theatre project in Rome, where she choreographed LOSTalgia, during a Residency with “InTeatro Polverigi”- Italy, which also went on stage with the “Festival Scintille” ASTI Teatro- Italy 2013. The company also had the pleasure of building a new piece titled Don’t walk Walk for the Cupar Arts Festival in Cupar, Scotland- 2013. Jacqueline has directed the short dance film In 2 Us– for the “Breaking 8” Film Festival- Italy, as well as for the “ScreenDance” Miami Film Festival- Miami, Florida (USA). In the music video genre: she directed, choreographed and produced the I’m not Through music video for the popular American band “OK GO” promoted by Saatchi and Saatchi- 2013; she later choreographed Brutal Love for the “Green Day” Music Video challenge, which was recognized as one of the top five Finalists within the Contest. In recent education, she has had the honor of studying at “La Biennale” Venezia for two years with Gabriela Carrizo, Director of Peeping Tom- Belgium.  Ms. Bulnes was the director of choreography for the production “Finis Terrae”, directed by Antonio Calenda.  Currently,  Jacqueline is directing the Dance theatre company I TwisTinkers in Rome, where she has created an interactive full length performance piece by the title of Moon Motel for the “Torino Fringe Festival”- Italy 2014.   Jacqueline was recently the choreographer for “Finis Terrae” and “Passio Hominis”, directed by Antonio Calenda. She was recently the lead Actress in the Film “Proserpina”, directed by Federico Tocchella. Jacqueline is currently dancing with Chantry Dance Company in the UK, among other collaborations.
