Current: Dancer/Teacher with Chantry Dance Company in Grantham, UK.

Lead Actress in the Italian Short Film “Proserpina”, directed by Federico Tocchella.

Dancer and Actress in Italian production “Passio Hominis” (2015) directed by Antonio Calenda (Italy).

2015: Choreographer of the theatrical shows “Finis Terrae” (2014) and “Passio Hominis” (2015) directed by Antonio Calenda (Italy).

Directed the dance theatre performance “I Pazzi” 2015) for the Theatre Festival “Il Mistero della Mente” in Rome.

Directed the “I Heart Radio” Commercial for Talenthouse Productions.

Directed/Choreographed and Performed in a full length Dance Film “Labyrinth Tales”, an interactive performance based on original Fairy Tales by Brothers Grimm and Charles Perrault.

2014: Directed “Don’t walk Walk” for the Cupar Arts Festival, Scotland with Compagnia I TwisTinkers.

Directed “Moon Motel”- a dance theatre performance for “Torino Fringe Festival”, Torino.

Directed “Lostalgia” with Panini 2 Life Company as resident company in “InTeatro”- Polverigi, Italy.

2013:  Guest teacher at Rambert School in London- Martha Graham Workshop.

Directed “In 2 Us”- a Short dance film for Breaking 8 Film Festival, Italy and Screen Dance Miami Film Festival, Miami (U.S.A.).

Directed “I’m not Through”- music video for American band “OK GO” as part of the Saatchi and Saatchi projects. Co-director- Ben Minot.

Choreographed “Brutal Love” for a Green Day Music Video challenge.Official finalists in the Contest. Directed by Christian Scardigno.

Directed and Choreographed “Panini Christmas”- a series of Flashmobs. A one month bus tour around Rome with 20 actors/dancer. Sponsored by Comune di Rome, Italy.

Physical Theatre director with the “Free Mistake Project” in Rome, Italy. Directered by Francesca Viscardi Leonetti.

Resident choreographer at “Beats Generation”- Tivoli, Italy.

2005-2012:  Soloist with Martha Graham Dance Company, NYC.  Performs lead roles in “Sketches from Chronicle”, “Diversion of Angels”, “El Penitente”, “Clytemnestra” and Bulareyang’s and Azure Barton’s “Lamentation Variation”, among others.  Performed “I Baccanti” and “Prometeo” at Teatro Greco in Siracusa, Sicily. Directed by Antonio Calenda. Choreographed by Janet Eilber, director of the Martha Graham Company.

2005-2007:  Soloist with Dance Theatre of Harlem, NYC.  Performed Balanchine’s “Concerto Barocco” for a Documentary Film on Dance Theatre of Harlem’s performance at the White House.  Featured roles included La Sylphides “Flower Festival”, among others solo’s choreographed by Arthur Mitchell and Keith Saunders.

March 2004:  Soloist with Michael Uthoff Dance Theatre, Arizona.  Performed works by Jose Limon, Michael Uthoff and Robert Battle.

2002-2008:  Lead Dancer in three Independent Short Films- sections of a Film titled “Scriptures”, Directed and Choreographed by Jennifer Sims.  These films were shown in the Memento Vivere Festival (Italy and Romania 2009), the Festival VideoDanzaBa (Buenos Aires, Argentina 2010), the Stratford Fringe Film Festival (England 2010), the Court-BOUILLON Film Festival (France 2010) and the NYC Short Film Festival (New York City 2010).

1997-1998:  Soloist with “Imprints Dance Ensemble”, Directed by Alberto Alonso of the Ballet Nacional de Cuba.

EDUCATION

2013-2014:  Studied with Gabriela Carrizo from Peeping Tom- Belgium, at La Biennale (Venezia)

2010-2011:  Studied with Fabian Prioville of Pina Bausch Tanztheater.

2009-2010:  Studied with greek Choreographer Dimitris Papaioannou.

2001-2004:  BFA with Honors from the New World School of the Arts/University of Florida- Miami, FL.

Summer 2005:  Scholarship recipient with American Ballet Theatre’s Summer Intensive.  Performed as a Soloist in Balanchine’s “Theme and Variations”, restaged by Nancy Raffa.

Summer 2004:  American Ballet Theatre’s Summer Intensive Program.  Performed as a Soloist in Twyla Tharp’s “Push Comes to Shove”, restaged by Susan Jones.

Summers ’03-’04:  Full Scholarship to Dance Theatre of Harlem’s Summer Intensive.  Trained with Eva Evdokimova, Arthur Mitchell and Raymond Lukens, among others.

Full Scholarship to the Martha Graham Dance School.

AWARDS

2000:  “National Foundation for the Advancement of the Arts” Merit Award.

2001:  “Dancer of the Year” Award.  Chosen by Daniel Lewis, Dean of Dance at the New World School of the Arts in Miami, FL.
